“Go Fund Yourself,” is the title of the greatly awaited first episode of season 18 for South Park the animated comedy created by Trey Parker and Matt Stone. Before I started watching it I always thought South Park was just this dumb show full of vulgar stupid humor made for adults that had the comedy interests of a 7-year old kid. After watching it I realized not only was it all of those things but it was also surprisingly clever at the same time. I was hooked, and I’m so very excited to see what they have in store for this newest season. The first episode was hilariously clever which is what I’d expect from the comedy geniuses behind the show. Even the title got me. Essentially the episode revolves around Stan, Cartman, Kenny, and Kyle creating their own start up company with Kickstarter, and are attempting to come up with a name. It’s funny because the entire reason they want to create a company is so they can get out of going to school. They find a name but Cartman tells them that the Washington Redskins have lost the trademark to their name and logo and that it’s up for grabs. So they take it. Now the football team is unhappy and wants their name and logo back, but we all know Cartman’s attitude towards being a decent human being.
